Tuesday speeches!

Today was April's turn! 

April talked to us about the Pink Ribbon Ride. She shared information about  the bike ride, and her grandparents who take part in it. April's Grandma has pink fairy wings that she wore! An interesting report April.

 Te Rangimarie is quite new to our class. She was a bit shy when she started but she soon found that Room 2 are a very polite audience. They were very interested in how Te Rangimarie had been in the Christchurch earthquakes. It sounded scary so we are glad she is living up here now. Thanks for sharing Te Rangimarie!

Pukeko Reading Group

Pukeko Reading Group can do their reading activity on the iPad the tablet or the iPod.  It is fun using technology but it's not that easy!  Sometimes you have to do the sentence a couple of times before it is right.  KC kids are resilient and they keep trying! Great effort Pukeko!

A scary spider!

We have been practising writing our story straight on to the iPad. We know that there are some spelling mistakes but we had to save our work as a photo! We hope you can still understand what we wanted to say.

Taking Photos

Today some of us had to practise taking a photo and doing some writing on the Ipad.  We could take a photo of anything we liked.

Reading Activity

Sometimes when we read a book we can do an activity about the book.  We really liked making our spinning snakes.  Some of us made them at home as well.
