Friday Class Reporters
Kobe was the first reporter on Friday and he told us about his Xbox. He showed us photos and explained how it works. Kobe's speech was very informative and he spoke clearly and remembered to look at the audience .
Jasmine was the next reporter and she talked about Hello Kitty. Her Hello Kitty book had many photos in it that Jasmine talked about and then right at the end, she showed us her own Hello Kitty!
Jasmine made us laugh at the end because she was talking in a funny voice! Her speech was interesting and she looked at the audience a lot!

Pukeko Reading Group
Pukeko Reading Group can do their reading activity on the iPad the tablet or the iPod. It is fun using technology but it's not that easy! Sometimes you have to do the sentence a couple of times before it is right. KC kids are resilient and they keep trying! Great effort Pukeko!

I like the sentences Eva. We need to find out how to make the text go wider!

Good sentences Cooper. They talk about the picture!

Dylan's Pizap! Good choice of sentence Dylan!

Our thoughts about our assembly!

You were so good at singing on the stage, Rome! I like your poster too. It looks like you are standing in a doorway!

Nice background for your poster, Molly. I liked the way you were so confident and happy up on the stage. You spoke very clearly. Well done!

News and learning!
Cooper has had a karate test this week. He will find out next week how good his karate was!
In their spare time, these boys made Stars Wars things out of the fish maths equipment. They were being resourceful because I don't think that real Star Wars things are made from fish???
Ake has made a very colourful necklace out of the beads. She has used round beads and cube shaped beads. It looks pretty Ake!

Reading Activity
Sometimes when we read a book we can do an activity about the book. We really liked making our spinning snakes. Some of us made them at home as well.
